About Me

Hello…and welcome!

With the overwhelming support of friends and family I’m so happy to present this place where I can both publish my prose writings and connect with people. 

These are simply little stories from inside my head, written in the style that is uniquely mine. My grammar isn’t always perfect but often that works in my favor to help paint the picture, so I hope you’ll forgive me. Many stories have roots in real life, but I have taken certain liberties to elaborate certain parts, and do my best to protect the privacy of featured individuals.

After battles with various mental health issues over the years I’ve adopted the life mantra of “focus on happy” and this has made a world of difference. Writing makes me happy, writing about happy things makes me even more happy, and if someone reads my works and feels happy then “boom”, I’m achieving what I’ve set out to do!

Many of my writings come as responses to challenges published on www.theprose.com, where I go by the username of Junior. It’s a fantastic resource for budding writers and a great way to get your creative juices flowing.

With regular posts to my site on a wide range of topics, I aim to keep things light, entertaining and, as always, open for discussion. I look forward to your comments and feedback.
